Reservations and Refunds

The Grove by the River accepts reservations online.
Payment is accepted in the form of a major credit card. Full payment is due when making reservations.
The Grove by the River does not refund reservations once they are made.
The Grove by the River reserves the right to remove any registered guest or visitor from the property. No refund will be issued to expelled guests.

Campground Boundaries / River

o The land and river to the north and south of the campground are private property. Please no trespassing.

o No personal items outside of your designated camp site.

o River on property. Enter at your own risk.

o No waste water or trash dumping in the river.

Vehicles / Traffic

o Limit 1 vehicle per site at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS! This includes motorcycles.

o No parking in vacant campsites.

o Visitor and temporary parking is in the banquet hall parking lot.

o Overnight parking in the banquet hall is by permit only. Guests are assigned a designated space. Contact camp office for current rates.

o Additional vehicle passes may be purchased per vehicle/per day, or for the season. Contact the office for current rates. A vehicle pass does not permit an additional vehicle to be parked at your campsite.

o Vehicles may only be parked in designated areas; no double parking.

o Vehicles must display their parking pass at all times.

o Vehicles are required to drive the correct direction through the one-way circle.

o No commercial vehicles are permitted to be parked on the property.

o Three (3) parking/traffic violations will result in expulsion from the property with no refund.

Pet Policy

o Limit two (vaccinated) pets per campsite.

o Pets must be on a leash at all times.

o Pets must be accompanied by an owner at all times. No pets tied up or caged outside.

o Pets must be cleaned up after.

o No pet stakes or pet cables permitted.

o No pets permitted on the playground.

o No pets permitted in buildings with the exception of service animals.

o Pets must be declared at the start of your reservation and cannot be added later.

o Visitors are not permitted to bring pets into the campground.

o Three (3) pet violations will result in expulsion from the property with no refund.

Smoking Policy

o No smoking within 30 feet of any building.

o Butts must be placed in appropriate receptacles not on the ground.

o No smoking on the playground.

Alcohol and Marijuana Policy

o Alcohol and marijuana are prohibited within the boundaries of the campground.

o Three (3) alcohol or marijuana violations will result in expulsion from the property with no refund.

Illicit (Illegal) Drug Policy

o Guests found in possession of illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia will be immediately removed from the campground and trespassed.

Tree Policy

o No nails, screws, or tacks in trees.

o No trimming/cutting/removal of trees.

o No hanging items between or in trees.

Children

o Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

o Children may not play in or near the river unattended.

Bathhouse Policy

o Available to registered guests only.

o Please limit showers to 10 minutes.

o Children must be accompanied by an adult.

o Report any damage to the camp office. Do not attempt to make any repairs yourself.

o Do not flush anything except toilet paper in the toilets.

o No smoking in or around the bathhouse.

Sewer Connections

o Do not flush anything except toilet paper in toilets.

o Sewer connections must be screwed in.

o Report any spills to camp office.

o Dump station is available for a fee.

Gate Policy

o Gates close when staff leave for the day.

o Gate may not be left open after hours.

o Lost or damaged gate openers must be reported to the camp office.

o Gate openers may be dropped in the after hours drop box or returned to the camp office.

o For the safety of all, a guest that opens the gate after hours is RESPONSIBLE for closing the gate behind them.

Visitor Policy

o Visitor parking is limited to the banquet hall parking lot.

o No visitors permitted after 8 pm.

o Overnight guests must be registered at the camp office before 5:00 pm.

Quiet Time Policy

o Quiet hours 10 pm – 7 am.

Bicycle Policy

o Peddle-powered bikes are permitted on driveways, parking lots, and in the playground.

o Safety equipment encouraged.

Concealed Carry Policy

o Individuals with state-issued concealed carry license must follow all state laws.

o No concealed carry permitted in banquet hall.

Campfire Policy

o Fires must be attended at all times.

o Fires must be contained within designated rings.

o No trash burning.

o Fires must be completely extinguished and doused with water when before retiring for the evening or exiting the campground.

Dress Code

o Shirts, pants, and shoes are required when outside of your campsite.

Check Out Policy

o Check out time is 11 am.

o No refunds for early check out.

Trash Policy

o Trash must be taken to the dumpster at the end of the banquet hall parking lot.

o Trash must be placed in the dumpster and close the lid.

o No dumping trash in the shelter or bath houses.

o No trash left in fire rings.

Fishing Policy

o Fishing is permitted in the river.

o Catch and release fishing only.

o Fishing license required.

Playground Policy

o Playground closes at dusk.

o Playground is designed for children.

o No smoking on the playground.

o No pets on the playground.

o No bottles or glass on the playground.

Tent Camping

o Limit 6 occupants per lot.

o Limit 3 tents per lot.

o Tents must be placed a minimum of 15’ apart to provide a fire-break.

RV Camping

o Limit 4 occupants per lot. 2 additional guests can be added for a fee.

o Limit 1 RV per lot.

o No additional sleeping tents, canopies, or gazebos permitted on a lot with an RV.

o RVs including slide outs and awnings must be a minimum of 15’ from another RV or structure.

Cabin Policy

o Limit 6 occupants per cabin.

o No smoking in or around site.

o No pets in or around site.

o No removing items from site.

o No rearranging furniture.

o No nails/tape on the walls or deck.

Season Camping

o Guests must maintain a permanent address that is not at The Grove.

o No mail or packages may be delivered to campground guests at The Grove’s address.

o Sites may not be transferred.

o No refunds will be issued for early checkout.

o Season camping rates cannot be prorated.

o No washing of RVs on site.

o No permanent decks or skirting on RVs.

o Propane tanks must be secured in the storage area of your camper and no larger than 30 gallons.

o Regular, overnight guests must be declared at the start of the reservation. Additional, intermittent guests may be added for a fee.

o No altering existing landscaping.

o Decorations must be stored within your camper when not present.

o No trash or trash cans outside of campers.

o Please notify staff if you will be removing your camper at any time.

o ALL personal items must be removed from campsite whenever RV is gone for any reason.
