Rules & Regulations

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations before check-in

If you cancel a reservation at least 3 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival: you will receive a full refund less the original non-refundable cancellation fee of $10.00.
If you cancel a reservation less than 3 days prior to your scheduled day of arrival, but before 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled day of arrival: you will receive a full refund less the cancellation fee of $10.00, plus the fees for the first night of accommodations.

Late arrivals

Will you be arriving late?

If you will not be able to arrive at the accommodation by 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact the Pool/Campground staff directly to advise them to keep your reservation at (403) 933-7483 If you have not checked-in by 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled day of arrival, and you have not notified the pool/campground staff, you will be considered a "No-Show" and your reservation will be cancelled (subject to .

No-shows

If you have not checked-in by 2:00pm the day after your scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the site to inform them of your late arrival, you will be deemed a “No-Show”. Your reservation will be cancelled and your accommodation will be made available to other guests.

1. The Turner Valley Municipal Campground, its agents, servants, employees and or representatives does not accept responsibility for personal injury or loss of personal property of its guests. Please ensure all your valuables are in a safe place before retiring or when leaving your RV unit unattended. All facilities are used at your own risk, including the splash park.

2. Please drive slowly (10 km) at all times. – watch for children playing.

3. All campers, their guests and or visitors must be registered at the campground office before entering the campground, whether they walk in, bike in or drive in. Campground Management has the right to refuse service to anyone.

4. All campers must complete the Registration form. Campsites are to be occupied by the camping party listed on the Registration form.

5. The maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive nights. 14 consecutive days must pass before another reservation is permitted.

6. All services (power\water) will be disconnected October 1st until May 15th.

7. Campsites are provided with ONE picnic table, ONE fire pit.

8. One RV unit, and one vehicle is permitted per campsite and must be contained to your own camp site. RV units include motor homes, trailers, 5th wheels, truck campers and tents. Truck campers must remain on the vehicle at all times. A small 2-person tent for children is permitted.

9. Any and all camp site usage of the current camping season is considered to be for recreational camping purposes only, and is not considered to be used for primary or permanent residency.

10. No person shall damage any campground property or make any alterations, improvements and/or modifications to campsites.

11. All visitors must leave by 10:00pm.

12. All campsites must be kept neat and in clean condition at all times. Any camper who leaves a campsite in an untidy condition requiring additional maintenance of cleaning will be held responsible for the cost of such clean up.

13. Removal of any item from campsites may be requested at any time due to a maintenance or safety concerns.

14. All personal items should be stored away either in your RV unit if you are going to be away for more than a few hours.

15. The campground rules and regulations apply to everyone. Campers who fail to abide by or abuse the campground rules and fail to cooperate with campground management will receive notice to leave.

16. Extra guest and visitor parking is located outside the main gate by the campground office.

17. Campfires are permitted only in the fire pits provided and to a maximum of 2 feet in height. Open fires are NOT ALLOWED if the Town has a TOTAL FIREBAN IN EFFECT. Fire pits must not be used to dispose of cans, bottles, or other household trash. Campfires are not to be left unattended and must be extinguished whenever leaving your campsite or on departure.

18. Garbage is to be put in plastic bags and placed in the containers provided nearest to your campsite. Items such as microwaves, furniture, BBQ’S etc. are not to be disposed of in these dumpsters. For disposal of these items please use the main landfill site. Directions and contact information can be obtained at the campground office. Please do not leave bagged garbage outside of the dumpster.

19. Quiet hours will be from 11:00pm until 8:00am. Quiet hours will be strictly enforced.

20. FIREWORKS, FIRECRACKERS, OR OTHER NOISE MAKING DEVICES ARE PROHIBITED!!

22. Registered site users are responsible for ensuring themselves and their guests obey all campground rules. Loud, abusive, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated at any time and is cause for immediate eviction and being banned from the campground, without refund. Remember, you and your guest may be asked to leave at any time by campground management.

23. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is restricted to your campsite only. Persons shall not walk about the campground carrying open alcoholic beverages.

24. Please do not climb, hang, nail, cut or do any damage to trees in the campground.

25. Pets must be leashed at all times and must never be left unattended at your site and must be cleaned up after. Noisy, unruly, aggressive or disruptive pets will not be permitted to stay. Fines will apply to users that do not pick up after their pet.

26. Campground management must be notified if the camping unit is being removed from the campsite for any period of time. Otherwise it will be assumed that you have checked out.

27. Grass cutting will be done weekly by campground management (excluding weekends) and is dependent on the weather conditions. Please ensure that the lawn area is fully accessible for the use of the lawn tractor.

28. For the safety of everyone extension cords\hoses etc. are not permitted to be left (unused) on the ground or placed underground.

29. Off Highway vehicles are not permitted for use within the campground.

30. Firewood is available for a fee. Please contact campground management.

31. Barbecues and the appropriate fuel are permitted.

32. Drones and other RC toys are not permitted anywhere in the campground for privacy and safety reasons.

Important Note:

All Campground rules and regulations will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply with any of the campground rules & regulations will be considered a breach of the camper’s registration and may result in an immediate eviction and being banned from the campground by campground management
