German Shepard Dog Show: June 9 - June 11. Multiple large dogs will be on site 
July Fireworks: July 1 (high priority stay, two (2) nights) June 30 - July 2
Christmas in July: July 22 - Christmas decortion competition
Labor Day: September 1 - September 4 (recognized holiday, three (3) nights)
Nehemiah Fest: September 14 - September 16 (Camgpround Closed)
Haunted Campground: October 21 (high priority stay, two (2) nights) Reservations open Tuesday, August 1 at 8:00 AM!

A campsite reservation is required before camping. Camp Host will check in campers at the reserved site.

Campground facilities are reserved for registered guests only.

By camping at Smith’s Fork Park Campground, the registrant and all guests acknowledge all Campground Rules and agree to abide by each rule.

Campground season is from April 1st to October 31st.

The maximum length of stay is 30 days within any 60 consecutive day period.

Check-out time is 10 am.

Check-in time is 1 pm.

Visitation hours: 7 am thru 9 pm.  Quiet hours: 10 pm thru 7 am.

Campground Rules

NO ELECTRICAL CONVERTERS OR PIGTAILS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED.

  • Parking allowed on gravel areas ONLY, no parking on the grass.
  • The minimum stay for a recognized holiday is three (3) nights. Stays during a recognized holiday can only be canceled as a whole, not in parts. Recognized holidays are: Memorial Day, Labor Day and Independence Day when it falls on a weekend.
  • One camper and one tent per site OR two tents per site.
  • Tents must be placed within 25 feet of the camp pad.
  • Campfires are allowed in the fire rings ONLY.  No campfires after midnight.
  • The consumption of alcohol will be allowed in campsites only.
  • Alcohol consumption will be limited to individuals 21 years of age or older.
  • Obey campground traffic regulations and observe one-way traffic patterns.
  • Keep the campground clean by placing all refuse in the trash containers.
  • Do NOT put trash in campfires.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than 6’.
  • No pets are allowed in the park buildings.  Clean up after your pet.
  • No fireworks, firearms, or amplified sound.
  • Satellite dishes must be placed within 10’ of the camping unit.
  • No washing of camping RV towed trailer or towing vehicle.
  • Powered scooters inside the campground must be street-ready with brakes (front and back), signal lights, headlight and taillight. The rider must hold a valid state driver license and obey campground speed limits and traffic patterns.

Camping privileges may be revoked by the camp host and enforced by Smithville Police for violations of any of these rules.

Campground Fees

  1. Full service 30-amp site. Forty dollars ($40.00) per day.
  2. Full service 50-amp site. Forty dollars ($40.00) per day.
  3. All campers are subject to a five-dollar ($5.00) charge for vehicles in excess of the primary tow vehicle and towed vehicle. For purposes of this section, a vehicle shall include, but not limited to, cars, trucks, vans, motor homes, boats, jet skis, go-carts, motorcycles, etc.  For purposes of this section, a “primary tow vehicle” is defined as a motor home or vehicle towing a trailer.
